The face reflects many aspects of the inner self.
To go in quest of inner man and depict this in a sculpture,
is the fascination of the portrait.’

‘The source of my inspiration
is humanity. In 1984 I started
to carve in stone. Subsequently,
in 1990, I honed my skills
in sculpting and casting.
Since 1995 I furthered my skills in
model and portrait sculptures.
In July 2014 I finished my
BIK-training. This one-year
post-graduate training from the
AHK is given to professional
artists who like teaching children
in primary school in artistic field.
In 2018 I have followed a training
academy in Oil Portrait
Painting at the Wackers Academie.
Shape by color, my journey into
the two-dimensional plane.
Travel is to discover, marvel and
experience… The journey continues!”’
